Seventy years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteers soldiers fought dauntlessly to win the great victory of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953), safeguarding the newly-born People’s Republic of China and protecting regional and global peace. On the occasion of commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers entering the Korean Peninsula to fight in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the PLA Daily published in its October 27 edition images of some combat units of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in military training, their predecessors were heroic CPV units which ever fought bloody battles in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.
