NANJING, Sept. 27 -- The 5th International Army Forum on Military Education kicked off in China's Nanjing City on September 25. Representatives from nearly 20 countries including Argentina, Spain, Laos, Egypt and Saudi Arabia were invited to attend the two-day exchanges and discussion.
The forum was hosted by the Army Engineering University of Chinese PLA. Under the theme of "Cultivating Army Officers for Joint Military Operations", the forum aimed to explore the development trend and reform direction of military education, share practical experience in military education, and create a platform for the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign military academies in the field of military education.
During the forum, the participants carried out discussions and exchanges on topics such as Capability Required for Army Officers in Joint Military Operations, Joint Education and Training Program for Army Officers, and Conditions Required for Joint Training and Exercises in Military Academies.
