GUANGZHOU, China, Sept. 20 -- Recently, a new batch of pilots assigned to the aircraft carrier Shandong (Hull 17) formation of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy passed the qualification certification for nighttime landing onto aircraft carrier during a combat training in a certain sea area in the South China Sea, which further enhanced the round-the-clock combat capabilities of the PLA Navy's carrier-based aviation forces.
